Short answer

Some can. District 65 and District 202 both include parts of Skokie, so registered voters who live there vote in those school board races, but not in the Evanston mayor’s race. [1][2][3]

## Which districts reach into Skokie

- District 65 serves Evanston and “a small neighboring section of the Village of Skokie.” [1]
- District 202 (Evanston Township High School) serves all of Evanston and parts of Skokie. [2]

## Why the mayor’s race is different

Only voters who live within Evanston city limits vote for mayor. [3]

## Check your own ballot

The Cook County Clerk’s voter lookup shows your registration, polling place and sample ballot, with every race you vote in. [4]
