- Sep 2026: On Sept. 4, 2026, Logan formed the candidate committee Friends of Gilo Logan (ISBE ID 41414), with himself as chair and another individual as treasurer.[7]

### Public office

Nothing found in the records reviewed.

### Property and taxes

- Dec 2024: As successor trustee of a family trust, Logan sold 1716 Hovland Ct. for $350,000 by a trustee's deed dated Dec. 20, 2024 and recorded Jan. 14, 2025.[9]
- 2025: JPMorgan Chase filed mortgage-foreclosure actions 25-CH-02536 (March 4, 2025) and 25-CH-10730 (Oct. 20, 2025) concerning 1031 McDaniel Ave., where Logan lives, on a 2019 credit-line mortgage signed by a relative who has since died; the recorded notices name Logan, other relatives and unknown heirs as defendants and do not show the amount owed, and the dockets were not reviewed.[10]
- Feb 2026: As administrator of a relative's estate, as recited in the deed, Logan sold 1718 Hovland Ct. for $200,000 by a deed dated Feb. 17, 2026; the probate docket was not reviewed.[11]

### Legal and regulatory

- 2015–2026: City of Evanston bills lists presented to the City Council for approval include payments to Logan Consulting Services for police diversity training beginning in September 2015, including $30,000 in 2017 and $30,000 in 2018, which a 2020 police department report to the Council described as "a multiyear contract"; the bills lists also include smaller payments for other city work through January 2026.[12][13][14][15][16]
- Jun 2015: On June 22, 2015, the Evanston City Council approved on its consent agenda Resolution 67-R-15, authorizing a $55,000 contract with Logan Consulting Services for a police diversity and inclusion workshop series; the resolution states, "Given Logan Consulting Services long-standing and particularized ties to the community, it is appropriate to engage this vendor in providing these services."[17][18]
- Aug 2019: Logan signed, as manager of Logan Consulting Services, LLC, a $23,550 District 65 professional-services agreement to "Develop age-appropriate learning lessons to be used for restorative remediation of the use of the 'N' word," with modules from early childhood (ages 3–5) through grade 8 and professional development for staff; the copy reviewed is published by Defending Education, an advocacy group, and District 65 check registers show payments to the firm totaling that amount from September 2019 to March 2020.[19][20][21][22]
- 2015–2026: District 65 check registers and bills lists attached to its board meetings show 12 payments to Logan Consulting Services, LLC from October 2015 through an August 2026 bills-payable list, totaling $69,325, including the payments under the 2019 agreement; the registers list amounts, not the services purchased.[23][20][21][22][24][25][26][27][28][29][30]

### Statements and conduct

- Mar 2021: A March 22, 2021 post titled "In Response to the Atlanta Shootings" on the Medium account of his firm, Dr. Logan Consulting, written in the first person, said "the purity culture of the strict White evangelicalism of which the shooter is a part likely contribute to both the racist and misogynistic aspects of his addiction and his violent actions" and that Republican members of Congress "denounced the violence but refused to acknowledge possible racist motivations."[31][32]
- Mar 2022: In public comment at the District 65 board's March 14, 2022 meeting, Logan supported a Fifth Ward school; the approved minutes summarize him as saying that "1967 Evanston worked for integration but it was the worst thing that happened to the black community," that "Integration w/o equity is just drive by diversity," and that "Black children were exported out of their communities and imported to the white community and schools in the name of integration and diversity."[33]
