District 65 School Board
Evanston/Skokie School District 65 runs Evanston’s public schools from pre-K through 8th grade. Three of the seven board seats are on the April 6, 2027 ballot. [1]

| Who’s running again | Van Nostrand says he will run. Wilkins says she won’t. Hernandez hasn’t said.[3] |
| Who votes | Registered voters who live in District 65: the City of Evanston and a small neighboring part of Skokie.[6] |
| Candidate filing | Nov 16–23, 2026, with the Cook County Clerk. Candidates need at least 50 voter signatures.[4][7] |
| To qualify | A U.S. citizen, 18 or older, a registered voter, and a district resident for one year before the election.[7] |
