- Oct 2026Announcing his candidacy, he told the Evanston RoundTable "it's really not clear to me that putting an iPad in the hands of every student is improving their learning," and the RoundTable reported that he thinks school closures should be a decision "of last resort" and is unsure whether the decision to close Kingsley met that criterion.[10]
